These benefits create a safety net that fosters resilience and confidence. For example, my mother comes over every Wednesday to help in any way she is needed. Whether cooking, cleaning, watching a movie, sharing family history, organizing a room or rearranging furniture- she is here for it and I am forever grateful for her emotional, practical, and motivational assistance.

  3. Create family rituals: Whether it’s a daily 15 minute quick clean, a special birthday tradition, or evening prayers, rituals build a sense of unity.

  4. Express appreciation: Don’t wait for special occasions to say “thank you” or “I love you.” These words strengthen bonds. If it feels awkward, lean into it and create a silly phrase that works for you. "epp opp ork ah ah, that means I love you!"

  5. Support each other’s goals: Celebrate achievements and offer help when challenges arise.


By weaving these habits into daily life, you create a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and connected. I’ve seen firsthand how these small steps can transform family dynamics and bring more joy into our homes.
