Let’s connect and plan a few amazing events for 2024.
Last year, I hosted Time to Play, an evening prioritizing play for adults while introducing them to nonprofit organizations around the city. The evening accomplished what I wanted to happen:
Adults played and had fun in the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park. “I forgot how old I was and played like I was 16 again. It was so much fun. Now I’ll have to go home and take some medicine so my 60-year-old body isn’t aching tomorrow.” Mary
Attendees learned about nonprofits doing great work in our community. “I think I just found my kids' new school!” Jeanine
Organizations were connected with peers and businesses who supported their mission and vision. “I used Cat from 2nd Story Creative (a vendor at the event) to update my website!” Janice
I intend to replicate that event in the spring and would love a few people to assist. Regardless of your profession, if you want to support nonprofits, encourage adult play, and have fun, this would be a great way to accomplish all three items.
